What Defines a Pre-Owned Item

A pre-owned item is any piece that has had a previous owner, regardless of whether it has been used. While some items may remain unused, they are still classified as pre-owned once they have entered secondary ownership.

How to Identify Pre-Owned Pieces

To ensure full transparency, every product on Thameen clearly indicates its condition status.

You can identify a pre-owned item by:

• The condition label displayed on the product description or filters (e.g., Pristine, Excellent, Very Good).
• Detailed condition descriptions outlining any signs of wear, if present.
• High-quality imagery showcasing the item’s actual state, and inclusions if any.

Each listing is carefully reviewed to ensure it meets Thameen’s strict standards for authenticity, condition, and presentation.

Our Standard

We do not accept items that fall below our quality threshold. Pieces showing heavy wear, structural damage, or requiring repair are not listed on Thameen.

Every pre-owned item you see has been authenticated and selected to reflect the level of refinement and quality our customers expect.

Brand New
Items are brand new.

Pristine (Unused)
Items in pristine condition are new, unused, and are free from any defects. They exhibit flawless quality and are in perfect, mint condition.

Pre-Owned (Excellent)
Items in excellent condition are clearly unused or may have very very light signs of wear. However, they still maintain a high level of quality and appearance, with minimal to no visible flaws.

Pre-Owned (Very Good)
Items in very good condition have been lightly used and may show minor signs of wear such as light scratches or scuffs. Despite these minor imperfections, they remain in overall very good condition and retain their functionality and appeal.

Pre-Owned (Good)
Items in good condition have been moderately used and may show moderate signs of wear such as moderate scratches or worn corners. Nevertheless, they are functional, attractive and remain in overall good condition.

Pre-Owned (Fair & Poor) - Not Listed
Items that show heavy to extensive signs of wear are not accepted on Thameen. This includes pieces with noticeable damage such as deep scratches, stains, discoloration, structural wear, broken or missing hardware, or any elements requiring repair or restoration. While such items may remain functional, they do not meet Thameen’s quality, presentation, and condition standards and are therefore neither listed nor sold on the platform.

Brand New (Boutique)
Sourced directly from authorized retailers or boutiques, these watches are brand new, unworn, and complete with original packaging and documentation where applicable.

Unworn
Unworn watches have not been used but may not be sourced directly from a boutique. They remain in new condition and typically include original accessories, though minor handling marks may be present.

Pre-Owned
Pre-owned watches have been previously owned and may show light to moderate signs of wear. Each piece is carefully inspected and presented with detailed descriptions and imagery to reflect its exact condition.

Vintage
Vintage watches are typically older pieces valued for their heritage, rarity, and character. Signs of aging and wear are expected and contribute to their appeal. Condition varies by piece and is clearly detailed for full transparency.

Brand New
Items are brand new.
